Its a Group B homologation special, extremely rare. Also held the title for fastest accelerating 0-60 mph production car for 12 years IIRC

Yep, they built them all in a shop basically, the homologation was just for the requirement so that was it.

I saw one driving on the street once in Tokyo when I was about 15, 20+ years ago.  It was the loudest car I’d ever seen driving around to that point.

The County doesn’t seem nearly as rare or uncommon. You see them around. But with just under 2000 built it certainly is rare.

It’s always strange if you have no idea of the age or the looks but i am not someone with a visual imagination so i don’t imagine what peoples are looking like but some are working this way .
